God’s Saving Hand Delivered Me From Grave Peril

I am a maintenance worker in a coal mine. Three months after I accepted Almighty God’s work of the last days, I experienced a mine accident due to water spill. It was thanks to the deliverance of Almighty God that I narrowly escaped death.

One day in late September, about 7 a.m., I went to the production group to get the assignment. The technical manager told me to do maintenance work in the coal-carrying tunnel where the coal-mining team worked, so I went down the mine shaft for work. When I got all the tools ready in the mine and began to work, it was already 10 a.m. I worked in the tunnel where the scraper-trough conveyers went through, and the location of my work was 150 meters away from the exit. At 1 p.m., I heard a fellow worker shouting, “The water comes out from the upper tunnel!” Hearing that, everyone panicked and ran for his life. I also threw down the tools and made a run for the exit. I moved forward by gripping the hydraulic prop, falling behind others. But I walked so slowly, so I wanted to relax my grip and run. But hardly had I relaxed my grip when a rushing torrent came from the upper end of the tunnel, and it swept me off my feet and carried me about 30 meters away downward. I was swallowed up by the water, and felt as if there was no hope of survival. In the moment of danger, I prayed to Almighty God in my heart and committed my life and death into His hands. After praying, I felt very peaceful within and did not panic anymore. The surrounding water seemed not that violent. I opened my eyes and saw a large pit down below me. “Has the coal seam between this pit and that of the main mine been dug through? If I had been swept down into it, I would surely die.” This thought sent a chill down my spine. At that time, my upper body was hanging down from the edge of the pit, and my left shank was pinned under two planks about 7 feet long. I knew clearly that God had used these two planks to keep me from being washed away. In order to survive I groped around and found a rafter 10 cm wide, 2 cm thick, and 1.5 m long. I tried to pry the two planks off my left shank with it, but failed even when it was broken. Then I tried pulling my wounded left shank out from under the planks, but I couldn’t budge it. Again I tried prying the planks off my shank using the broken rafter I only had. I tried with all my strength, and at last, I succeeded. After that, I thought I must leave there immediately, but I was weak all over, and wanted a break. Just then, I noticed another violent torrent rushing down the tunnel. I hurriedly climbed onto the beams by grabbing hold of a prop of the tunnel. Part of the roof above the place where I stayed had caved in and a great quantity of fallen coal piled there, and pieces of coal might fall off from the roof anytime. The only thing I could do then was cry out to Almighty God incessantly. I prayed to Him in my heart, “My life and death are in Your hands.” I wanted to stay there until the water subsided, then run up the tunnel. I flashed my light around and saw the tunnel was flooded with water, the water at its lower end was gushing up, that at its upper end was running down, and the surface of the water at its lower end was only one or two meters away from me. Looking upwards, I couldn’t see a way out, and pieces of coal dropped from the roof above my head from time to time. I was likely to be killed at any time, and I felt completely hopeless. At this moment, I prayed to God again, “Almighty God! My life and death are in Your hands. Even if I die today, I will not complain against You. I believe You are the true God.” Then, I got a clear thought: Climb up against the torrent. So I got down immediately from the beams, and climbed up by grabbing hold of the planks and rafters lying scattered. While climbing, I felt the water behind me, like a pair of strong hands, suddenly pushed me forward by 5 or 6 meters. Then I saw clearly the situation of the tunnel in front of me: A torrent 1 meter wide was rushing down it; some parts of the tunnel narrowed; planks and rafters were lying scattered. Some sections of it weren’t supported by any props, and pieces of coal were dropping with flops. It was really scary and dangerous. With great caution, I, breathing heavily, trudged about 50 or 60 meters. I felt exhausted and wanted to have a rest. When I flashed my light around, I saw the tunnel I had maintained earlier, not far from where was a low area inundated. At that time, the water was up to my shoulders. I walked through the water and reached the cage at the bottom of the auxiliary shaft, which was the elevator car used to raise and lower people. I knocked at the cage to draw the attention of the people outside, and then sat in it. They heard the echoes and operated the elevator and raised me up.

After I came out of the mine, I saw a crowd of people surround its entrance, including the leaders. They were all surprised to see I came out alive. The technical manager told me that he and a miner had been to the scene of the accident in the mine twice, and that when seeing the water flow was large and kept rushing down the tunnel, they thought that I stood no chance of survival. There were seven maintenance workers working in the upper tunnel at that time, but none of them came out, but I, working in the lower tunnel, escaped. In general, it was easier for those working in the upper tunnel to escape than those working in the lower tunnel. I really thank God for His protection for me.

That night my neighbors paid a visit to me. I testified about Almighty God to them and told them how I had come out of the mine by relying on God. Two days later, the brothers and sisters who lived nearby came to visit me after learning what had happened to me. I told them my experience, and they were all moved to tears. I said, “I had only believed in Almighty God for three months, but when I cried out to Him in disaster, He guided me. If it had not been for His protection, I would not have come out of the mine. …” Then my brothers and sisters sang a hymn of God’s word “God Is the Only Foundation for Men’s Existence”: “When the waters swallow men whole, I save them from the stagnant waters. When men lose their confidence to live, God stretches out his hand of salvation and pulls them up from the edge of death, giving them the courage to live, letting them have him as the foundation for their existence, have him as the foundation for their existence.” I was deeply moved by it: I have experienced exactly what this hymn says! When I was swallowed up by the water in the mine, it was God who reached out His saving hand to me; otherwise I would have lost my life. I cannot thank God enough!

Through this experience, I saw God’s protection and salvation for me, and I became more certain that Almighty God is the reliance of man’s existence. I was willing to follow Him seriously, and I made up my mind to preach the gospel to testify about Him. Then I went to preach the gospel to my relatives, friends, and fellow miners. Two of my fellow miners accepted God’s work of the last days right away. All the glory be to Almighty God!

Previously, when I saw the scriptures recorded in the Bible, “At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungered, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat. But when the Pharisees saw it, they said to him, Behold, your disciples do that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath day” (Matthew 12:1-2), I thought to myself: Why did the Lord Jesus lead His disciples to the outdoors on the Sabbath although He clearly knew the Pharisees kept the laws and rules? Wouldn’t it be easy for the Pharisees to get a handle and attack and judge Him? Then why did the Lord Jesus do like this? These questions had been preying on my mind.

One day, I saw God’s words, “When the Lord Jesus came, He used His practical actions to communicate to people: God had departed the Age of Law and had begun new work, and this new work did not require observation of the Sabbath; when God came out from the confines of the Sabbath day, this was just a foretaste of His new work, and His truly great work was continuing to play out. When the Lord Jesus began His work, He had already left behind the shackles of the Age of Law, and had broken through the regulations and principles from that age. In Him, there was no trace of anything related to the law; He had cast it off entirely and no longer observed it, and He no longer required mankind to observe it. So here you see that the Lord Jesus went through the corn fields on the Sabbath; the Lord did not rest, but was outside working. This action of His was a shock to people’s conceptions and communicated to them that He no longer lived under the law, and that He had left the confines of the Sabbath and appeared in front of mankind and in their midst in a new image, with a new way of working. This action of His told people that He had brought with Him new work that began with going out from the law and going out of the Sabbath. When God carried out His new work, He no longer clung to the past, and He was no longer concerned about the regulations of the Age of Law. Neither was He affected by His work in the previous age, but He worked as usual on the Sabbath and when His disciples were hungry, they could pick ears of corn to eat. This was all very normal in God’s eyes. God could have a new beginning for much of the work that He wants to do and the things that He wants to say. Once He has a new start, He neither mentions His previous work again nor continues it. For God has His principles in His work. When He wants to begin new work, it is when He wants to bring mankind into a new stage of His work, and when His work has entered a higher phase. If people continue to act according to the old sayings or regulations or continue to hold fast to them, He will not commemorate or praise this. This is because He has already brought new work, and has entered a new phase of His work. When He initiates new work, He appears to mankind with a completely new image, from a completely new angle, and in a completely new way so that people can see different aspects of His disposition and what He has and is. This is one of His goals in His new work. God does not hold on to the old or take the beaten path; when He works and speaks it’s not as prohibitive as people imagine. In God, all is free and liberated, and there is no prohibitiveness, no constraints—what He brings to mankind is all freedom and liberation. … No matter what people say and no matter how they see or assess His new work, He will carry out His work with no qualms. He will not worry about anyone’s conceptions or fingers pointed at His work and words, or even their strong opposition and resistance to His new work. No one among all of creation can use human reason, or human imagination, knowledge, or morality to measure or define what God does, to discredit, or disrupt or sabotage His work. There is no prohibitiveness in His work and what He does, and it will not be constrained by any man, thing, or object, and it will not be disrupted by any hostile forces. In His new work, He is an ever-victorious King, and any hostile forces and all heresies and fallacies from mankind are all trampled under His footstool. No matter which new stage of His work He is carrying out, it must be developed and expanded in mankind’s midst, and it must be carried out unhindered in the entire universe until His great work has been completed. This is God’s almightiness and wisdom, and His authority and power. Thus, the Lord Jesus could openly go out and work on the Sabbath because in His heart there were no rules, and there was no knowledge or doctrine that originated from mankind. What He had was God’s new work and His way, and His work was the way to free mankind, to release them, to allow them to exist in the light, and to allow them to live.”

Through the revelations of God’s words, I came to understand that the reason why the Lord Jesus did not keep the Sabbath and chose to go out and work on that day was that He wanted to tell those who lived under the law that He had ended the old age and brought with Him new work. When God initiates the work of the new age, God will not hold fast to the old sayings or regulations, nor will He allow people to cling to them. Meanwhile, He also, in such a way, makes man understand His disposition and know that He is always new and never old. He never follows any doctrine or takes the beaten path. He does His work in accordance with His own plan and mankind’s present needs, not the slightest bit constrained or hindered by various regulations and man’s notions and imaginations. Thus, the Lord Jesus did not worry about how man would see His new work at all, nor did He worry about criticism. He still did the work of His plan as usual. In Him, all is free and liberated. It could be said that this action of the Lord Jesus is the true expression and revelation of God’s inherent disposition as well as the manifestation of the wisdom in His work. It was just because the Pharisees did not realize God is an ever-new and never-old God as well as a God of wisdom and wonder that they limited God to the old rules and doctrines, and did their utmost to search for handles against the Lord Jesus, and moreover, nailed the innocent Lord Jesus to the cross on the charge of His not following the law of the Old Testament. In consequence, they received God’s righteous punishment and curse. It is perceived that if man does not know God’s disposition or His working principles, but rather always checks God’s new work against His former work and limits God’s work to old regulations and doctrines as well as to his own notions and imaginations, then he will easily make the mistake of delineating and resisting God and what awaits him ultimately will only be God’s wrath and punishment.

Similarly, as required by the need of corrupt mankind, today the incarnate God has done a deepened and uplifted work on the basis of the Lord Jesus’ work, expressing words to judge, chastise, and purify man as well as showing man the path to achieve dispositional change. When some religious leaders hear Almighty God’s work of the last days, they do not treat it with an attitude of seeking and investigating it, but instead they measure Almighty God’s work by each and every word of the Bible. If it matches the words in the Bible, then they will accept it; if not, then they will oppose and reject it. In their own conceptions and imaginations, if God comes but is not called Jesus, then He is not the returned Lord; if God comes but does not bestow His boundless grace and blessings upon man with His merciful and loving disposition, then He is absolutely not the returned Lord. Therefore, man defines God’s work in their notions and imaginations once again, ultimately walking the path of the Pharisees. Nevertheless, God’s new work is not affected by this in the least. Those who truly believe in God, seek God and thirst for God’s appearance all come out from their own notions and imaginations and finally meet the coming of the Lord with a seeking and obedient attitude.

From the facts of God’s work, it can be seen that God has been doing His work according to His own plan and His wisdom all the time. In addition, regardless of in what manner God does His work, it’s all for the better salvation of man, and also for man to be liberated by the truth, which is most beneficial to man. Therefore, we should not define God by our notions or restrict God with our own thoughts. Instead, we should put aside our own conceptions to seek God’s appearance, only through which can we keep up with God’s footsteps and obtain God’s salvation. This is the sense and the reverence for God that should be, at the very least, possessed by a created being.

God’s words say, “Man should not define the work of God; moreover, man cannot define the work of God. In the eyes of God, man is smaller than an ant, so how can man fathom God’s work? Those who are constantly saying, ‘God does not work in this or that way’ or ‘God is like this or that’—are they not all arrogant? We should all know that people, who are of the flesh, have all been corrupted by Satan. It is their nature to oppose God, and they are not on a parity with God, much less can they offer counsel for the work of God. How God guides man is the work of God Himself. Man should submit, and should not hold such and such a view, for man is but dust. Since we try to seek God, we should not superimpose our conceptions on the work of God for God’s consideration, least of all should we employ our corrupt disposition to deliberately try to oppose the work of God. Would that not make us antichrists? How could such people say that they believe in God? Since we believe that there is a God, and since we wish to satisfy Him and to see Him, we should seek the way of truth, and should look for a way to be compatible with God. We should not stand in stiff-necked opposition to God; what good could come of such actions?” “God makes His own choices and has His own plans when He does His work; moreover, He has His own objectives, and His own methods. It is not necessary for Him to discuss the work He does with man or to seek the advice of man, much less notify each and every person of His work. This is the disposition of God and, moreover, should be recognized by everyone. If you desire to witness the appearance of God, if you wish to follow the footprints of God, then you must first transcend your own conceptions. You must not demand that God do this or that, much less should you place Him within your own confines and limit Him to your own conceptions. Instead, you should ask how you should seek the footprints of God, how you should accept the appearance of God, and how you should submit to the new work of God; that is what should be done by man. Since man is not the truth, and is not possessed of the truth, man should seek, accept, and obey.”

One may ask: The Bible says, “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:17). How should this verse be interpreted? How will the verse concerning believers being raptured in the last days be fulfilled?

For every Christian who is waiting devoutly for the return of the Lord, the topic of the believers’ rapture when the Lord returns in the last days is always attractive. None of believers are not expecting to be raptured into the kingdom of heaven when the Lord comes back. However, what on earth is the true meaning of rapture? Does it really mean that the believers are lifted into the air by the Lord in the last days? To understand this aspect of the truth, let’s first read several verses. Acts 8:39-40 says, “And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.” According to man’s thought, since here it is said that Philip was caught away by the Spirit of the Lord, he was taken to heaven. Yet, in fact, “Philip was found at Azotus” and he preached the gospel in all cities, carrying out the Lord’s will on earth. From this we can see that Philip was not taken into heaven but was still on the earth.

In addition, the Lord Jesus taught us the Lord’s Prayer, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matt 6:10). Speaking of “Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven,” it means that man’s future destination is not in heaven but on earth. That is to say, man still lives on earth when the kingdom of God descends. Revelation 21: 2-3 says, “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.” Revelation 11:15 says, “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” These prophecies address that, “The tabernacle of God is with men,” “new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven,” “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ.” All these words indicate that man’s final destination is that mankind will still live on earth rather than be taken into heaven as we imagined. If rapture means to be taken to heaven as man understands, then were not these prophecies spoken in vain?

In fact, since God began to manage and save mankind after man was created by God and corrupted by Satan, God’s work of saving man has always been carried out on earth and man has always been living on earth. Finally, God’s will is going to be carried out on earth and His kingdom will be realized among men. So man’s destination is not in heaven but upon the earth, which is the ordination of God.

Almighty God says: “God has God’s destination, and man has man’s destination. While resting, God will continue to guide all of humanity in their lives upon earth. While in God’s light, man will worship the one true God in heaven. … When humanity enters into rest, it means that man has become a true creation; humanity will worship God from upon the earth and have normal human lives. People will no longer be disobedient to God or resist God; they will return to the original life of Adam and Eve. These are the respective lives and destinations of God and humanity after they enter into rest. … Man’s place of rest is on earth, and God’s place of rest is in heaven. While man rests, he will worship God and also live upon earth, and while God rests, He will lead the remaining portion of humanity…. After God and man enter into rest, Satan will no longer exist, and like Satan, those wicked people will also no longer exist. Before God and man enter into rest, those wicked individuals who once persecuted God upon earth and the enemies who were disobedient to Him upon earth will have already been destroyed; they will have been destroyed by the great disasters of the last days” (“God and Man Will Enter Into Rest Together” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). From God’s words, we know God’s place of rest is in heaven, while man’s place of rest is still on earth. They will enjoy the life that is akin to that in heaven. It is exactly the harmonious and beautiful life that God has prepared for man and is precisely God’s ultimate accomplishment.

Since man still lives on earth after being completely saved, what exactly does rapture refer to? Actually, as for the mystery of rapture, Almighty God has already revealed it to us. God’s words say: “‘Being caught up’ is not being taken from a low place to a high place as people imagine. This is a huge mistake. Being caught up is referring to My predetermining and selecting. It is targeted at all those I have preordained and chosen. … Anyone who has a share in My house in the future are all people who have been caught up before Me. This is absolutely true, never-changing, and cannot be refuted by anybody. This is My counterattack against Satan. Anyone I preordained shall be caught up before Me” (“The One Hundred and Fourth Utterance” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).

It turns out that the true meaning of being raptured is keeping pace with the steps of God’s work and accepting the new work of God during the last days. In the Age of Law, man believed in Jehovah God and abode by the laws and commandments. When the Lord Jesus came to do the work of redemption, man could walk out of the law, follow the Lord Jesus’ work and gain His redemption. This was called being raptured. Today, the Savior Jesus has returned. He is Almighty God who is incarnated to express His words to save man completely. If man walks out of the Age of Grace and follows God’s new work, he will get purified fully and be taken to a wonderful destination by God. This also constitutes being raptured.

Today, Almighty God’s gospel of kingdom has spread to the entire universe. Most of the brothers and sisters who truly believe in God in all denominations and sects have recognized God’s voice and followed His footsteps after hearing His utterances. They have been raptured before God’s throne and enjoyed the watering and provision of God’s words to their heart’s content. People don’t need to desperately await anymore because of God’s arrival. God’s chosen people are no longer weak or negative, but live in the light of God’s countenance again, enjoying a happy life with God’s personal guidance and shepherding. It is the new life of being raptured, isn’t it?

After I grew up, I once read the Bible, “Jesus said to him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? he that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you then, Show us the Father? Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak to you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works.” (John 14:9-10) The verses let me reflect on my view: Is the relationship between Jehovah and Jesus like “Father and Son” told by my father in my childhood? The word “I am in the Father, and the Father in me” tells us: Father and Son are one. Are Jehovah and the Lord Jesus one God? As they are one God, why does He have two different names: Jehovah and Jesus?

Puzzled and doubtful, I continued praying to the Lord Jesus. One day, my father told me, “The Lord Jesus has already come back. He is the incarnate Almighty God in the end time. From now on, don’t pray in the name of Jehovah or Jesus any more. Pray in the name of Almighty God.” I was stunned by what he said. It was so difficult for me to understand these two names. Here was another name now. Although I felt puzzled in my heart, I put aside my notions. This is because since my father, who had longed for the return of Jesus for many years and was cautious, said so, this way must have truth.

Then, my father asked me to read a passage of Almighty God’s words, “In each age and each stage of work, My name is not baseless, but holds representative significance: each name represents one age. ‘Jehovah’ represents the Age of Law, and is the honorific for the God worshiped by the people of Israel. ‘Jesus’ represents the Age of Grace, and is the name of the God of all those who were redeemed during the Age of Grace. If man still longs for the arrival of Jesus the Savior during the last days, and still expects Him to arrive in the image He bore in Judea, then the entire six-thousand-year management plan would stop in the Age of Redemption, and would be incapable of progressing any further. The last days, furthermore, would never arrive, and the age would never be brought to an end. That is because ‘Jesus the Savior’ is only for the redemption and salvation of mankind. I took the name of ‘Jesus’ for the sake of all the sinners in the Age of Grace, and it is not the name by which I shall bring the whole of mankind to an end. Although Jehovah, Jesus, and the Messiah all represent My Spirit, these names only denote the different ages in My management plan, and do not represent Me in My entirety. The names by which people on earth call Me cannot articulate My entire disposition and all that I am. They are merely different names by which I am called during different ages. And so, when the final age—the age of the last days—arrives, My name shall change again. I shall not be called Jehovah, or Jesus, much less the Messiah, but shall be called the powerful Almighty God Himself, and under this name I shall bring the entire age to an end.” (from The Word Appears in the Flesh) From the words of Almighty God, I understood that God’s name and God’s work are intimately connected. God uses one name to represent the work of one age. The name of Jehovah represents the work God did in the Age of Law. The name of Jesus represents the work of redemption God did in the Age of Grace. At last, the name of Almighty God represents the work of judgment in the end time. Although God’s name can change, God’s substance is immutable. Just as Almighty God says, “There are those who say that God is immutable. That is correct, but it refers to the immutability of God’s disposition and substance. Changes in His name and work do not prove that His substance has altered; in other words, God will always be God, and this will never change.” (from The Word Appears in the Flesh)

Almighty God’s words clear up my years of confusion, and I totally understand that there is only one God. Jehovah, Jesus, and Almighty God are different names that God takes in different ages due to God’s different work. Almighty God’s word reveals the mysteries of the Bible and leads mankind to know God and His work. I am certain that Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus and accept the end-time work of Almighty God gladly.

Yet what puzzles us is that believers in God ought to be wild with joy when they witness the Lord Jesus, whom they have long been yearning for, coming with clouds, so why will the scene appear where all kindreds of the earth wail because of Him? What kind of people are those who pierced Him?

We all know the words prophesied in Revelation, which were directly revealed to the apostle John by God, are God’s words. God says all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him when He descends upon a cloud. The verses go on to say, “Even so, Amen.” And God’s word will never be wrong. The Bible prophesies that the Lord Jesus will come back in the last days, and all believers in the Lord are longing and waiting for His return. As the Bible records, the Lord Jesus says to His disciples, “For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines to the other part under heaven” (Luke 17:24). “For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:27). The Lord Jesus also says, “Behold, I come as a thief” (Revelation 16:15), and “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6). In the words of the Lord Jesus, the Son of man is mentioned many times. We all know, the spiritual body can’t be called the Son of man and only God incarnate can be called the Son of man. Moreover, it says that the Lord returns as a thief. From these prophecies, we get to know one of the ways in which the Lord Jesus comes in the last days is to descend secretly. However, many believers only pay attention to the Lord’s appearing upon a white cloud publicly, but neglect God’s work when He descends secretly, which concerns directly whether we can welcome the return of the Lord.

Nowadays, the Lord Jesus, incarnated again and descending in secret, has done the work of judgment beginning at God’s house. God returns to save those truth lovers and true believers in God. Now, in the denominations and sects, all the people who truly seek and thirst for the appearance of God have heard God’s voice, followed God’s footsteps, come before the throne of Christ of the last days, Almighty God, and accepted God’s work of judgment in the last days. In God’s work of judgment and chastisement, these people pursue the transformation in disposition, gradually know God and know the fact about their corruption by Satan, walking on the right path of life of worshiping God. Only those who accept the work of judgment in the last days and get purified can welcome the public appearance of the Lord—they are wise virgins. While those people, who blindly wait for the Lord Jesus to descend from the heaven upon a white cloud, cleave to their notions and imaginations, not seeking or investigating God’s work. And even worse, some of them follow the CCP, the atheistic party as well as the religious antichrists slandering, condemning and opposing God’s work in the last days. These people are the Pharisees and antichrists revealed by God, and they are the very people who pierced Him as stated in the Book of Revelation. Those who resisted and condemned the incarnate Christ of the last days will weep and gnash their teeth when God appears openly, and they will suffer God’s righteous punishment.

In retrospect, in the Age of Grace, when the Lord Jesus did His work, the chief priests, scribes and Pharisees in the religious world didn’t acknowledge Him as God incarnate. They even defined that God could only be called the Messiah and He was not God unless He was called the Messiah. Besides, they judged, condemned and persecuted the Lord Jesus, joining hands with the Roman government to crucify the Lord Jesus at last. As a result, they committed a heinous crime and led to the destruction of their nation of Israel, with their people fleeing to countries around the world. They rejected God, thus they had to suffer God’s righteous punishment. Whereas, people in the last days who have expected the return of the Lord Jesus replay the historical tragedy. When Almighty God comes to perform the work of the last days, many people have heard the testimony of God’s work in the last days for many times. However, they hold to their own imaginations and notions, and believe the rumors fabricated by the CCP atheistic government as well as the religious antichrists. As a result, they neither seek nor investigate. Moreover, they not only refuse to accept Almighty God’s work in the last days, but forsake and condemn the incarnate God. When God’s work in secret finishes, the catastrophe will come soon. After the disasters, God will appear publicly. When people who have resisted and condemned God see the One who is riding upon a cloud is Almighty God that they have persecuted and rejected, how could they not mourn and grind their teeth? It will be too late to regret then, and it will be beyond redemption, and they will fall into the disasters. At that time, the scene that all kindreds of the earth shall wail will appear, and it will fulfill the words, “and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.” That is to say, when God publicly appears to man on a cloud, it is the time when man’s outcome is revealed.

Let’s read a passage of Almighty God’s words. Then we will become clearer about it. Almighty God says, “People who do not accept the truth, yet blindly await the arrival of Jesus upon white clouds, will surely blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, and they are the race that shall be destroyed. You merely wish for the grace of Jesus, and merely want to enjoy the blissful realm of heaven, yet you have never obeyed the words spoken by Jesus, and have never received the truth expressed by Jesus when He returns to flesh. What will you hold up in exchange for the fact of Jesus’ return upon a white cloud? Is it the sincerity in which you repeatedly commit sins, and then confess them, over and over? What will you offer in sacrifice to Jesus who returns upon a white cloud? … those who believe in God because of the signs are surely the brood that shall suffer destruction. Those who are incapable of accepting the words of Jesus who has returned to flesh are surely the progeny of hell, the descendants of the archangel, the brood that shall be subjected to everlasting destruction. Many people may not care what I say, but I still want to tell every so-called saint who follows Jesus that, when you see Jesus descend from the heaven upon a white cloud with your own eyes, this will be the public appearance of the sun of righteousness. Perhaps that will be a time of great excitement for you, yet you should know that the time when you witness Jesus descend from the heaven is also the time when you go down to hell to be punished. It will herald the end of God’s management plan, and will be when God rewards the good and punishes the wicked. For the judgment of God will have ended before man sees signs, when there is only the expression of truth. Those who accept the truth and do not seek signs, and thus have been purified, shall have returned before the throne of God and entered the Creator’s embrace. Only those who persist in the belief that ‘The Jesus who does not ride upon a white cloud is a false Christ’ shall be subjected to everlasting punishment, for they only believe in the Jesus who exhibits signs, but do not acknowledge the Jesus who proclaims severe judgment and releases the true way of life. And so it can only be that Jesus deals with them when He openly returns upon a white cloud. They are too stubborn, too confident in themselves, too arrogant. How could such degenerates be rewarded by Jesus? The return of Jesus is a great salvation for those who are capable of accepting the truth, but for those who are unable to accept the truth it is a sign of condemnation” (“When You Behold the Spiritual Body of Jesus Will Be When God Has Made Anew Heaven and Earth” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). From Almighty God’s words, we know that toward the return of the Lord Jesus, man’s attitude determines his outcome. During the period Almighty God works in the last days, facing the truth expressed by the returned God, those who cling to their notions rather than seek or investigate His work, and those antichrists who make an enemy of God incarnate, as well as those who follow antichrists and the CCP condemning and resisting God, are the brood who will perish and descend into hell in the end, which is determined by God’s righteous disposition. On the contrary, concerning the coming of the Lord Jesus, if man treats it cautiously and seeks it with fear of God humbly instead of jumping to rash conclusions, then God will enlighten and illuminate them to understand the truth in what God says and know His work, and thus they can get the chance of salvation and will surely not fall into disasters.

Nowadays, Almighty God’s kingdom gospel is spreading to all countries around the world. As long as, through reading God’s word, all brothers and sisters who truly believe in God and love the truth investigate Almighty God’s work in the last days carefully, they will be led and enlightened by God and enter into the Age of Kingdom. If people seek the truth genuinely, they will get opportunities of experiencing God’s judgment and chastisement and being purified and perfected by God. Finally they will become a group of overcomers that God gains in the last days as foretold in the Book of Revelation. Believing in God is not like playing a game. God’s work awaits no one. Now God’s work of the last days will conclude with His glorification, and the great disasters will befall soon. Only keeping up with the pace of the Holy Spirit’s work, experiencing Almighty God’s judgment and chastisement, and pursuing to become ones who truly believe in, love and worship God will people rejoice and be exceeding glad, and live under the blessing of God when seeing God appear to man publicly.
