Do You Know What the Creator Did On The Fourth Day?

Do You Know What the Creator Did On The Fourth Day?

Zhuiyi

Almighty God, God, God's creator, God's work,
At my young age, when summer came, my family often sat in the yard enjoying the light breeze at night, hearing the crickets and other small nameless insects chirping, and looking up to the twinkling stars and bright moon in the night sky. From time to time, we could also see the phenomena of the falling of stars, and the waning and waxing of the moon. All these made me amazed. Meanwhile, I couldn’t help thinking: the alternation of night and day; the change of year, month, and day; and the cycle of the four seasons; but who actually governs all these laws? From then on, filled with curiosity and puzzlement about the existence of the universe and the starry sky, I often asked some questions that even my parents could not give me answers. I hoped to get the answer one day.
At that time, I also often heard my parents saying, “The sowing season has come. We must seize time to cultivate land and sow seeds. If we miss the time, we will harvest nothing this year.” Soon, many went to the fields and were busily engaged in farm work, while innocent and carefree children ran around in circles amusing themselves in the near distance. In addition, oxen were also serving their function. At dusk, with wisps of smoke rising continuously from the village chimneys, exhausted people returned home one after another, along with their similarly fatigued livestock. Up to the present, this picture still remains fresh in my memory. At that time, I asked my mother, “Who sets the lunar terms? Why do people have a harvest only if they sow and reap according to the lunar terms?” Mother replied, “The Heaven does it. From ancient times to the present, we farmers rely on the Heaven to harvest from the ground.” Mother’s answer made me bewildered. Later, after I went to school, I noticed a word from a book, “Heaven, earth and all things were naturally-occurring.” From then on, I started to search for the mysteries I wanted to know in books, but I couldn’t find the answer I expected all along.
Until one day, I saw Almighty God’s words: “The ‘lights in the heaven’ are matter in the sky that can radiate light; they can illuminate the sky, and can illuminate the land and seas. They revolve according to the rhythm and frequency commanded by God, and light up different time periods upon land, and in this way revolution cycles of the lights cause day and night to be produced in the east and west of the land, and they are not only signs for night and day, but through these different cycles they also mark the feasts and various special days of mankind. They are the perfect complement and accompaniment to the four seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—issued forth by God, together with which the lights harmoniously serve as regular and accurate marks for the lunar terms, days, and years of mankind. Although it was only after the advent of farming that mankind began to understand and encounter the separation of lunar terms, days, and years caused by the lights created by God, in fact the lunar terms, days, and years that man understands today began to be produced long ago on the fourth day of God’s creation of all things, and so too did the interchanging cycles of spring, summer, autumn, and winter experienced by man begin long ago on the fourth day of God’s creation of all things. The lights created by God enabled man to regularly, precisely, and clearly differentiate between night and day, and count the days, and clearly keep track of the lunar terms and years (the day of the full moon was the completion of one month, and from this man knew that the illumination of lights began a new cycle; the day of the half moon was the completion of one half of a month, which told man that a new lunar term began, from which it could be inferred how many days and nights were in a lunar term, how many lunar terms were in a season, and how many seasons were in a year, and all was regularly displayed). And so, man could easily keep track of the lunar terms, days, and years marked by the revolutions of the lights. From this point onwards, mankind and all things unconsciously lived amongst the orderly interchange of night and day and alternations of the seasons produced by the revolutions of the lights. This was the significance of the Creator’s creation of the lights on the fourth day. Similarly, the aims and significance of this action of the Creator were still inseparable from His authority and power. And so, the lights made by God and the value that they would soon bring to man were another masterstroke in the exertion of the Creator’s authority.” (from Continuation of The Word Appears in the Flesh)
From God’s words, I realize that God created the universe and all things with words and created lights on the fourth day. These lights can not only illuminate the sky, but also shine upon the land and all living creatures on it. They revolve according to the rhythm and frequency commanded by God. Thus, it produces the interchange of night and day and the law of seasons of the shoots of spring, ripening of summer, autumn’s harvest, and winter’s storage, so that man clearly keeps track of the lunar terms and years. Thereby, mankind and all things have existed unconsciously amidst the law God set forth generation after generation. The existing laws of all things are something not known by man since time immemorial to the present day. I, who has experienced the journey of life for dozens of years, finally find the answer to my long-standing doubts from Almighty God’s word. It turns out that before creating mankind, God already made all precise arrangements for human existence, so that they can appreciate God’s realness from all things He created, taste His love and care for them, and behold His authority and power from His miraculous deeds.
It’s really the most blessed thing that today I am so fortunate to have accepted Almighty God’s end-time work and heard God’s utterance with my own ears. I won’t miss this rare and fleeting opportunity and only wish to continue taking heed of watching God’s deeds.
